GMAT Tips

GMAT appears to be tougher than GRE. But if you practice a lot you will be able to improve your scores dramatically. Here are few tips for improving your score:-

1. Register early so that you have enough time for preparation. Rather than having a month off before the exam for preparation, it's wise to allocate some hours for preparation daily for 4 or 5 months.

2. Practice as much as you can.

3. While practicing note down your strengths and weaknesses.

4. Focus on you weaknesses and try to improve it.

5. While practicing keep in mind about your pace. If you can't maintain your pace you might have trouble during exams.

6. If you don't know the right answer don't just randomly guess it. First try to eliminate the choices that you know are certainly not the answer. This will increase the probability of getting the question right.

So the important thing is to get the basics right to the beat the test. I have seen capable guys under perform in CAT tests simply because they are unaware of the basics of the test. So together with the preparation , it's equally important that you understand the test well.
